United Way is a registered charitable organization. We are a community of people
with a common goal of caring. People like you offering a hand to people in
need.
By helping people in our community, we are changing lives.
By working together, we can make the United Way a better place for
everyone. The money is raised in the community through workplace campaigns,
special events, planned giving, etc., and it stays in the community to fund
various programs to help people from all walks of life. 100% of funds
donated to The Portage Plains United Way are given to many organizations in
Portage and surrounding communities to help fund their projects and
services.
